Subject Question: Racing Cylinder QUATTRINI & SMARTCARB 26 Billet SC2 Flat slider

Hello. I am rebuilding my S2 Li125. I have chosen the QUATTRINI 210. When I review the specs on SIP it recommends a 26mm carb of choice which leads me to the 26mm SMARTCARB and my wanting to reach out to get feedback from those whom may have chosen to take this route.

Who has tried this CARB and can give me peace of mind ? And advice.? I have a friend whom is helping me put it back together and whom has experience installing the 210 but when I spoke with him about this carb he said he didn’t have experience with it yet hence my question.

The specs also recommend a traditional box style exhaust. I have chosen the Racing Exhaust GORI Super Sport with a 40mm diameter manifold and suited for a 26mm carb.

The internal diameter on the inlet manifold on the QUAD 210 kit is 30mm but the exhaust specs are 40mm. How do I resolve the manifold specs? Do I just order a different manifold than the one provided in the 210 kit?

Please note. I am by no means an expert in any way shape or form but committed to learning and not afraid to ask questions that might seem odd! All help and advice requested.
