Series 1, 2, 3 to GP

Hello Lambretta world. This is Kie in Seattle.

I recently bought 6 vehicles from the estate of a deceased doctor out here. Very nice family!

One of them is this scooter he bought new. It served as his University of Washington med school commuter way back in the day. He hung on to it all these years. Evidently he had it redone in the late 90’s. Starts and runs fine. Still looks pretty good.

My frame number doesn’t seem to fit. Is this perhaps a very late series 3 and the chart is wrong? One guy who looked at it for me tells me it is a series 2 but we didn’t get into the frame number at that time.

The WA State title says the model year is 1962 fwiw.

Any ideas?
