set up of yamaha shock?
Hi, i have two scoots now with the gold r1 shock. i put new bushings and the correct spring i. them. but i find they are really stiff on our shitty toronto roads. i may not have them adjusted properly. if anyone is really happy with theirs, could you please tell me how many clicks you have the top and bottom adjuster out from all the way clockwise? and what setting do you have the main spring on?

I ran mine on the least preload and damping for a few years. Even with the changed lower rated spring, and set up on the softest rebound, it was still really stiff. That's just how it will feel. I've gone back to using an indian shock.
