Remember, lots of hotels offer no-fuss cancellations if your plans hit a snag. And do not skip on travel insurance—it's a lifesaver (Airbnb even offers cheap insurance rates now).
Heads up! A music festival (Country Thunder) has just shuffled their 2024 calendar, rescheduling to—surprise, surprise—the last weekend of June, and it is all happening at the Bristol Motor Speedway. This venue is just seven miles away from our central hub at The Sessions Hotel, and everyone is gearing up for an extra buzz in town.
Fair warning—due to the festival frenzy, lodging prices are on the climb, but there are still some decent deals out there. Do not dawdle, though; this could flip on a dime. So, consider this your friendly nudge to get a jump on it and lock in your lodging.
While we were ahead of the game and got things booked early, other events in this popular town were bound to happen. We are going above and beyond to make sure our event runs smoothly. Exclusive street blockades and securing extra space for our activities is underway. While the Speedway is on board to accommodate our visit, anticipate that our activities will not overlap with the high-traffic musical events on Friday and Saturday.
