So I'm thinking of rebooting the ECC. I believe the last time it was held was in 2017 or so. If you aren't familiar, way back in 2010(?) DC, Baltimore, and Philly clubs got together because rally schedules were tight and we were seeing lower attendance as a result. We decided to combine three cities' rallies and have a single rally on the beach every year. It started in Wildwood, went to Asbury, may have gone a couple other places (I left DC in 2011 and moved to CA so I can't remember. I flew back to the one in 2013). I'm back on the east coast and after Bristol I've got the rally bug. I'm also old and have kids. What made ECC great is people could use it as their summer vacation - who doesn't like the beach? Mom can go rally and Dad watch the kids, Dad can rally and Mom and the kids can go to the boardwalk, etc. Whatever you make it. Come for a week, rally for 4 days, go home. It's up to you! So if you never attended that's the basics. It's vintage-only btw. Always was. Always will be. And until I can get some preliminaries done and see if it's even viable please keep it off social media.
