LCUSA President Bid
Hello fellow LCUSA clubmates, Patrick Birke here, your current Vice President. Maybe we’ve met at a scooter event, maybe you enjoy my monthly LCUSA Gazette emails or frequent LCUSA Instagram posts, either way, allow me to reintroduce myself and please consider this my bid for President of Lambretta Club USA.
I have been riding vintage scooters for 25+ years, a Lambretta owner since 2012 and club member since 2013. I was the driving force behind the Duluth Jamboree in 2016, helped organize the South Dakota Jamboree in 2019, the Santa Rosa Jamboree last year and the upcoming St. Louis Jamboree. I’ve been involved with planning many local and national scooter events, attend as many as possible and am an overall nice guy.
Over the past 4 years I have served as your vice president and am very passionate about this club. I have a lot of ideas on how to increase membership value, new merch, and new events. As president, Lambretta Club USA would continue to be my focus. I’m always looking for new ways to improve the club, get members more involved and bang that drum.
Professionally, I am a Senior Engineering Manager for a cyber security team at Target. I love building and leading teams to accomplish great things. I have a background and education in both information technology and graphic design. I believe the combination of my creative, technical and leadership skills will be an asset to the position of President and would love to help make a difference in the club.
