Chairperson positions
I read in the meeting notes that there is a discussion of chairperson positions. What are the duties and when would this happen and how would they be chosen?
Thanks

Mike as I am not the president - I can shed some light for you. When the chair-position was proposed in the bylaws it was in the sense of a "let's use when needed" for tie breakers and such - when a poll or vote was not being used. More of this maybe be a less important issue and a simple tie breaker is needed. At the time the Ambassador program had not happened yet. So looking at the role of a chair person - it is more of group of various ambassadors making a call via a vote amongst themselves from feedback they may here in real time on issues from thier region. Now "big" issues and anything majo-r the traditional vote system is the go to method.
We have yet to utilize the chair -role, and its not often votes and polls happen in the club, but as we can see we are growing and more concerns and issues arise and I am sure we will need this input and other insight to help guide things.
