Spark plug
I am slowly breaking in a new motor, does it make sense to check and analyze a spark plug after rides when I am mostly riding ½ throttle and below? Moving a clip on the needle or changing a pilot jet seems to make the bike run much better but when I look at the plug it seems a lot lighter in color.
I attached two photos of the same spark plug after movie clip in the needle up one notch




Unfortunately the second photo, the bike ran the absolute worst
(D-22 bottom clip), should I go back to that until I get a few hundred miles? or I can try and move the clip down on the D26, third photo was in the second position.
