2025 Jamboree Raffle Lambretta
The day to reveal the 2025 Lambretta Jamboree raffle scoot is finally here! Our build team worked tirelessly since Fall, after acquiring a 1961 Lambretta LI125 Series 2 project, with some local history, as well as some time spent in the Big Easy. The project, though, was anything but easy. As with any project, we have a couple more details to button up.

THE TEAM
Our build team of Matthew Regonini, Tom Carey, Clint Morey, Darcy Morey, Adrienne Hartz, Jamie Raupp, Miles TeSelle, Ming Koh, Max Ehrenberg, and Patrick Fitzgibbons. LCUSA member, and all-around great guy, Josh Snow, painted the LI for us in Santa Maria. Together this team took the early ideas discussed in our first Jamboree planning meeting and ran with them. In the very beginning, we discussed a general rally theme, loosely based on vintage ad campaigns for Keep Oregon Green, not that we wanted to copy them but instead create a similar feel of those old awareness campaigns.

THE LAMBRETTA
Research showed the '60s US Forest Service green wasn't too far off of similar Lambretta colors of the period. We discussed the potential of unique accessories associated with a forest service themed Lambretta. You'll see some of those as we get closer to Jamboree.
As with any custom build, there was no way this machine would remain a stock 125. The build team didn't cut any corners on the engine, installing a RT195 cylinder kit, GP crank, BGM electron ignition, S2 big bore exhaust, a 25mm Dellorto carburator, along with the usual bearings, seals and gaskets. The frame, inner fenders, glovebox, air box, fuel tank, along with the wheels, center stand, exhaust guard were powder coated. Legshield, panels, headset, floor boards, tail light, mudguard, hubs and other bits were painted. The scoot comes with two sets of wheels, on tubeless rims, complete with a set of knobby tires and street tires.
MASSIVE THANK YOUS
Of course this project doesn't happen without our generous stateside Lambretta shops: Scooters Originali, Casa Lambretta North America, Scooter Speed, Spot-On Scooters. Also, BIG THANKS to contributions from the build team.
WHAT'S NEXT
Fine tuning and mileage. We'll perform some run-in, sort out the special accessories, and have this Lambretta ready to roll for Jamboree!
The LI will be on display at Jamboree. Buy your raffle tickets early and often!
Remember, you need to be registered for Jamboree and present to win! The raffle will be held Saturday night, July 19, after the awards dinner at the Valley River Inn. More about Jamboree in Eugene and registration can be found here
