Help ID Vintage Radaelli Saddle

I bought this saddle on eBay after the description said it’d work on a S3. The front hinge mount fits the standard hole pattern however the seat is just too large all around. Measures 26” long (2” longer than aftermarket repop saddle) and 10” wide (1” wider Thant repop). The rear latch pin location is also different from stock Li.

Anyone able to ID what this would fit on? Bummed it won’t work on my S3  because the patina is perfect.

Cracks in case

Noob here, doing my first rebuild, is this Jet 200 case hosed? Are these just from casting? Can/should I have it welded? Put it back together and ride it? They don’t go through to the other side but I can catch my fingernail on them. Thanks

It is possible they are byproducts of casting, if these cases are sand casted and the pattern has cracks, then it would show up as cracks that go below the surface, if they are die casted, then the dies can crack over time and the “crack” in the case will sit proud of the surface. It can be difficult to ascertain which direction they go by catching of the fingernail. I would take a closer look at the cracks.

need help identifying my Li150

Hello Lambretta world. This is Kie in Seattle.

I recently bought 6 vehicles from the estate of a deceased doctor out here. Very nice family!

One of them is this scooter he bought new. It served as his University of Washington med school commuter way back in the day. He hung on to it all these years. Evidently he had it redone in the late 90’s. Starts and runs fine. Still looks pretty good.

serial or frame # 964433

engine # 967951

I found this link with a handy chart:

Thanks all for the kind words and info. Very helpful!

Yes @Vdublammy the original owner had it redone about 25 years ago. She is not a concours perfect machine but is holding up well. A real treat to ride.

avoid mazzucelli cranks

after about 4,000 kms my big end bearing failed. the two shims and a couple of needle bearings disintegrated, providing material to deeply scratch the cylinder walls and embed into the head. after chatting with some dealers in the UK they dont recommend mazz any more. they have seen a number of failures.
